Iron Crab Barbell Powerlifting Team
Our powerlifting team competes in USA Powerlifting, the largest drug-free powerlifting association in the United States. Currently, all of our lifters compete only raw, which means they can wear a belt, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps when performing the judged competition lifts of squat, bench, and deadlift. Our club registration number is: MD-16-18. Powerlifting meets are conducted in kilograms (kg), and one kilogram is 2.2lbs.
Our team has qualified and sent lifters from different genders and weight classes to USAPL Raw Nationals every year since 2015. Our team has also had a top 5 finisher (they give out top 5 at National Events not just top 3) at a USAPL National Event every year since 2015 as well.
